Day 1: Arrival to Sri Lanka

We will warmly welcome and pick you up from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on your arrival and you will be safely brought to the hotel in Negombo. You can rest at the hotel with beautiful surroundings to recover from your tiredness and the jet lag before kickstart your tour!

Day 2: Heading to Anuradhapura

After the breakfast you will be checking out from the hotel and heading to Anuradhapura. The distance is around 175 km and it will be around 5 hour drive depending on the stops and lunch break. By the evening you will be reaching the Anuradhapura hotel for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Explore the Anuradhapura Ancient City

After the breakfast you will be exploring the Anuradhapura ancient city to witness the 2000 years old cultural heritage of Sri Lanka's ancient kingdom and former capital city. In the evening you will be back to the hotel to relax and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4: Minneriya Safari and heading to Sigiriya

After the breakfast you will be checking out from the hotel and heading to Minneriya National Park. From the park entrance you can take an offroad safari vehicle for your safari tour. Here you can see the majestic wild elephants at large in their beautiful natural habitat. After the safari tour you will be heading to the hotel in Sigiriya/ Habarana for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Hiking the Sigiriya Rock Fortress

After the breakfast from the hotel, you will be heading for the next exciting activity of climbing the Sigiriya rock fortress. Sigiriya is a world heritage site and referred as the eighth wonder of the world. This is an ancient fortress used by the Sri Lankan king Kashyapa during CE 477 - 495. After completing the Sigiriya hike, in the evening we will be reaching the hotel for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Experience the Village Life, Traditions and Sri Lankan Village Food

After the breakfast you will be exploring the village life and day to day culture around Sigiriya/ Hiriwadunna village. During this exploration you shall have the experience of traditional bullock cart riding, traditional boat rides in the reservoir based on your preference. Also you will get an opportunity to try out the traditional Sri Lankan village food. After that you will be back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7: Dambulla Cave Temple and Heading to Kandy

After the breakfast you will be checking out from the hotel and heading to Kandy. While heading to the Kandy you will be taking a stop at Dambulla to visit the Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple. After that you will be reaching the hotel in the Kandy for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Exploring the Kandy City

After the breakfast you will be starting the Kandy city tour. Kandy is the capital city of the central province of Sri Lanka as well as a former capital of Sri Lanka in the ancient Kingdom of Kandy. You will be visiting the temple of the sacred tooth relic first which is one of the major attractions. Then you will be visiting the Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens and later will experience a cultural show in Kandy. Also you will get a leisure time to enjoy the walking around the Kandy lake and shopping. In the evening you will be returning to the hotel for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Heading to Ella via Nuwara Eliya

After the breakfast you will be checking out from the hotel and heading to Ella. This route will be one of the most scenic routes in Sri Lanka with breathtaking natural beauty. You can see the lush green rolling mountains with tea plantations surrounded by the mist & clouds as well as natural waterfalls. You will experience some attractions in Nuwara Eliya (which is also known as the Little England of Sr Lanka) while en route to Ella. By the evening you will be reaching the hotel in Ella for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: The Nine-Arch Bridge and Ella City Vibes

After the breakfast you can have a relax time and then you can explore the Ella city and surroundings. Ella is located in the middle of the beautiful, green, misty mountains with tea plantations. You will be visiting the famous Nine-Arch railway bridge in Demodara. Also you can explore the Ella city to feel the mild weather and the city vibes in the evening.

Day 11: Heading to Tangalle in the South Coast

After the breakfast you will be checking out from the hotel and heading to Tangalle, which is located in the South Coast of Sri Lanka. The distance is around 140 km and it will take approximately 3-4 hours depending on the breaks and lunch stop. In the afternoon/ evening you will be reaching the hotel in Tangalle and you can have a relax time before the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Chillaxing on Tangalle Beach

This is a leisure day to stay in the hotel and enjoy the beach. Staying in a Tangalle beach is a different level of experience as their beaches are well known for clean, unpolluted and less crowded. You can get the maximum out of this day to chillax on the beach and enjoy this tour to the max! Lunch also included from the hotel on this day.

Day 13: Heading to Colombo and Colombo City Experience

After the breakfast, you will be checking out from the hotel and heading to Colombo - the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. The distance is around 190 km. Before reaching the hotel in Colombo, we will take you to visit some attractions in Colombo city so you can experience the essence of the Colombo capital city as well. After checking in to the hotel you can take a small rest and prepare for your departure. If you need further assistance we are willing to help you or you can explore more or personal shopping by your own as you wish.

Day 14: Departure

This is the last day of your memorable tour! After checking out from the hotel, our chauffeur will carefully take you to the BIA airport departure terminal. You will be taking your departure flight with the fond memories of this tour!
